Standings glossary

The columns on a division table, in the same words the table uses.

Rank
The position in the league's published table. We keep that order.
GP
Games played that count in the table.
W-D-L
Wins, draws, and losses.
PTS
Total points. A win is usually 3 and a draw is usually 1.
PPM
Points per match: PTS divided by GP. Many leagues order the table by this, not by total points.
GD
Goal difference: goals scored minus goals allowed.
GF / GA
Goals for and goals against. Shown on the team page.
QoP
Quality of Play. MLS NEXT Homegrown U13 and U14 league tables use this instead of W-D-L. ATT and DEF are the attack and defense parts of that score.
Flex
An extra MLS NEXT Homegrown schedule. It is not the league table. Squads that only play Flex have games and no standings row.
